Our Story
La frazione becca It is an ancient hamlet dating back to the late 19th century, located in the village of Bioglio , a few kilometres from Biella and halfway between Turin and Milan.
My father Franco, an excellent Milanese architect, bought it in the early 1970s, returning to the village where his father Cesare, who had emigrated to Milan in the early 1900s, was born. A spiritual reunion and a lifestyle that would enrich the whole extended family.
An open-air paradise in a private and authentic setting where one can take refuge in one’s free time.
Little by little, Ca’becca becomes a small family hamlet made up of several units, all inhabited by relatives and a meeting place for the many friends who gather every Sunday and on every occasion in cheerful outdoor banquets, where cooking is an art and food a shared pleasure
We children grow up in nature among the plants and animals of the farm, simple and ancient games, running in the woods, hands in the earth, climbing trees and lots of imagination, precious memories, authentic values. The stable, the barn, the henhouse, the pigsty, the vegetable garden and a small room for making butter, cheese and salami are our daily hábitat.
In the 1990s we unfortunately had to eliminate the presence of animals, because they were no longer allowed in buildings next to the houses.
Life flows peacefully, strolling through the woods and feeding on the infinite peace of these hills, a place of love and good living
In 2018, we, the daughters, decided to open our doors to outsiders, customers who love nature, silence, tradition and the good life.
The houses have been renovated respecting the original architecture and Piedmontese tradition. Late 19th century houses with brick vaults, terracotta floors and exposed stone. Wood, a warm material, is widely used.
Life takes place around fireplaces and large kitchens that become the beating heart of family life.
Life in the open air, in its essence, is the authentic experience that these houses surrounded by nature offer visitors.
